Maternal Friendly Hospital Assessment was conducted on 16.10.2018 within the scope of the 'Mother Friendly Hospital Program' conducted by the Ministry of Health General Directorate of Public Health General Directorate of Women and Reproductive Health.
Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist from Kocaeli Unal Turkay, Ebe Halide Varol, Midwife Merziye Orange Kasap, Tunceli Province Obstetrics Specialist Op.Dr. by:
1) SDL (pain-birth and lohusa) known as comfortable and hygienic, meeting the expectations of our deliveries in our birth rooms, medical equipment should be with the team by one-to-one and the records were observed and normal records are encouraged. pregnant women can feel comfortable in their home environment and provide freedom of movement. In our hospital, the number of SDL rooms per pregnant is above the national standards.
2) An interview was conducted with the one-to-one mother who had 10 normal births who received service from our hospital.
3) Obstetrics and gynecologists working in our hospital, midwives working in the delivery unit and interview forms were filled in.
In the evaluations made:
- We provide safe and high quality pregnancy follow-up and delivery service to our mother candidates,
-We offer the necessary consultancy services during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postnatal processes,
-Political, education, consultation and delivery services are in compliance with the standards determined by the Ministry regulations,
-We keep our hygiene and comfort standards high,
We do not routinely implement non-relying interventions,
- We provide the optimum human resources and logistic support necessary for service delivery,
- We plan and implement trainings to strengthen the knowledge and skill capacity of service providers,
-We have recorded the necessary records related to the services provided and we have been determined that we use the analysis at regular intervals to improve the services.
According to the results of the evaluation, it is concluded that Torbalı State Hospital meets the criteria of Mother Friendly Hospital and it is appropriate to get the title 'Mother Friendly Hospital'.
