Intensive care
The intensive care unit of our hospital is a multidisciplinary unit equipped with advanced technology, providing 24-hour uninterrupted service to high-risk patients whose vital functions are severely impaired and who need to be followed up in the intensive care unit. In our Intensive Care Unit, each patient is hospitalized in specially ventilated single rooms to ensure patient privacy, to create a relatively noise-free environment, to reduce the lighting of the rooms when necessary, to prevent the transmission of microbes (to provide isolation). In our intensive care unit, we can monitor the vital signs of the patients (pulse, blood pressure, body temperature, ..) at each bedside. In addition, hemodialysis can be applied for 24 hours to intensive care patients who require emergency kidney support treatment. Admission to the intensive care unit is decided by the intensive care doctor and (if necessary) the relevant barricade doctor who takes care of the patient. According to the intensive care admission criteria, the patient groups we follow in our unit are as follows:

  • Patients with severe respiratory failure
    Patients with severe heart failure
    Patients with severe renal impairment
    Patients with sudden stroke
Patients with a serious infection called sepsis
    Poisonings
    Patients with general body trauma
Patients with nervous system disease (such as Myasthenia Gravis, Gullian Barre)
Patients who need follow-up after major surgeries
General condition disorders related to aging
Systemic failures due to malignant diseases, etc.
